They support us

Farwind Energy is and has been involved in several European projects, including two INTERREG Caribbean projects. The INTERREG Caribbean program supports structuring projects that provide a concerted response to issues shared by the territories and populations of the cooperation area. These programs provide opportunities to launch innovative projects and benefit from transnational partnerships.
As part of the Fair Value Transition Fund, Farwind Energy is aiming to develop a new activity in the Cordemais area – the manufacture of rotor sails to decarbonise maritime transport, in direct line with the European Union’s energy and climate objectives.

Fair Value Transition Fund PROJECT
Project for a pilot production line for innovative rotor sails in the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire basin
As part of the Fair Value Transition Fund, Farwind Energy is aiming to develop a new activity in the Cordemais area – the manufacture of rotor sails to decarbonise maritime transport, in direct line with the European Union’s energy and climate objectives. For every €2.5m invested in a sail installed on a ship, CO2 emissions of the order of 1,000 tonnes/year can be avoided.
