Farwind Energy is and has been involved in several European projects, including two INTERREG Caribbean projects. The INTERREG Caribbean program supports structuring projects that provide a concerted response to issues shared by the territories and populations of the cooperation area. These programs provide opportunities to launch innovative projects and benefit from transnational partnerships.

The MAGHIC 2 project is co-funded by the INTERREG Caribbean program under the European Regional Development Fund. It will notably allow full-scale sea trials of a rotor sail installed on a commercial vessel and bring together a Caribbean-wide research network for the ageing of materials in maritime and tropical environments.

W4S PROJECT
Wind for Shipping is an Interreg North-West Europe project that brings together 12 partners from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France. The project started in December 2024. It aims to support the transition to sustainable maritime transport by advancing the use of wind propulsion technologies.
