Our Carribean offices
It was only natural for Farwind Energy to establish itself in Guadeloupe, taking advantage of the power of the trade winds to make it its main market.
The company has developed numerous partnerships with the main energy players, such as SARA, and the Guadeloupe and Martinique ports.
Farwind Energy is involved in two Interreg Caribbean projects: MAGHIC and MAGHIC2.

MAGHIC 2
The aim of MAGHIC 2 is to unlock the use of wind in the Caribbean sea to help decarbonize maritime transport.
It also aims to build and strengthen a network of research, development and innovation players around maritime ageing, and to support innovation initiatives within Caribbean companies around the rotor sail concept.

MAGHIC
The MAGHIC (Maritime Green H2 Infrastructure in the Eastern Caribbeans) project aims to study the implementation of a new green hydrogen energy chain coupled with a port infrastructure for unloading, storage and distribution. This green hydrogen is produced locally from offshore wind by energy ships and transported by sea to the Eastern Caribbean.
