STOCK-H2-FARWIND project

The technology at the heart of Farwind Energy’s solutions is the autonomous, wind-powered energy ship. The ship’s speed is converted into electricity by hydrogenerators placed under its hull. As the energy ship is not connected to the grid, electricity is stored on board in batteries, or converted into hydrogen or e-fuels.
The STOCK-H2-FARWIND project focuses on the energy production chain, from the propeller of the hydrogenerator to the energy discharge, including battery and hydrogen storage solutions.
The aim of the project is to provide a preliminary definition of energy production and storage equipment, and to study their performance within a complex system.
